“My absolute favorite location at Hermann Park is the wall next to the Mary Gibbs and Jesse H. Jones Reflection Pool,” says Ana, a nature photographer. “A wall that has become seasoned by the years and whose columns are draped with the leaves of the climbing vines that grow here. In the spring, the fragrant flowers fill the air and give a pop of color to the area. This view can make you feel like you are in distant lands with pillars and climbing vines.”
Mascha of Barberries Photography agrees. “There are so many picture-perfect areas throughout the park. Ponds, fountains, gorgeous flowers, Japanese gardens, century-old oak trees, sculptures, I could go on and on. If you are ever close to the Medical center or downtown or going to the zoo, I highly recommend walking the park.”
