Top 3 Birthing Centers in Houston, TX

Coming up with a birth plan can be overwhelming and so can deciding where you will give birth. Bringing your baby into this world can be a beautiful experience, especially if you choose the right team for you and your family! This blog is for those looking for a birth center in the Houston area. I will outline 3 of my favorite birthing centers and provide links at the end for you to dig deeper for the ones you resonate with. My biggest advice would be to visit in person as early as you can to find a place that is the best fit for you and your family.

1. Katy Birth Center

Katy Birth Center was a birth center that I found with very high & genuine reviews! This center does accept health insurance (this is a rare find!) and offers a cash discount for those without insurance. Katy Birth Center is licensed and regulated by the Texas Department of State Health Services. Classes and education are a part of their services here as well as monthly visits up until 28 weeks and then bi-weekly until birth. Families seem to HIGHLY recommend this birth center and have had their lives changed for the better because of choosing to go with Katy Birth Center.

2. Cy-Fair Birth Center

Cy-Fair Birth Center is another top rated birthing center near Houston. This specific organization does NOT accept insurance or Medicaid. They offer straight forward pricing on that is visible on their website starting at $5,500. Early payment discounts are available. Similar to Katy Birthing Center, they also offer educational courses and events.

3. Heart of Houston Birth Center

Heart of Houston Birth Center seems to be a GEM of a place! Insurance and Medicaid is not covered at this location, but there are potential discounts. Packages start at $6,000. The nice thing about their packages is that you are able to receive a LARGE amount of additional support. In addition to the typical packages you would get at this birth center and others, you have full access to support groups/walks and community events. Along with their collective package, you have access and discounts to other maternity/newborn health providers that may help enrich your motherhood journey.

All three birth centers are phenomenal options with genuine, caring staff who want to add to your birth journey. They are a wealth of knowledge with many resources and support, you can’t go wrong with any of these options!
