This Brookwood Community wedding is one to rave about! Brian and Vicki were such a sweet couple to get to know. They were very simple when it came to details, yet sentimental in the most beautiful ways. Their wedding bands were a family heirloom that were passed down to them. The bride didn’t have a clear vision for flowers, and went with what the Houston florists had in mind. I would say that Freedom Floral nailed it. The couple chose to get married at a 485-acre property called The Brookwood Community which is a non-profit provides a place for adults with disabilities to live and work in a Christian environment. It was a beautiful space and I adored the heart behind this couple as they wanted to give back purposefully.
This Houston bride and groom were so calm before walking down the aisle. Surrounded by the sweetest family and friends, they shared some laughs and patiently waited until it was time to say I do. The groomsmen were all brothers and also included the groom’s son, James. It was beautiful to witness him walk alongside his dad on such a special day, the two of them have such a precious relationship.
This Brookwood Community wedding was a beautiful chapel wedding and had some lovely stained glass windows that photographed well. This was an indoor wedding in the summer, and because of the Texas heat, the couple opted to take most photos indoors. Look at Brian’s reaction, how sweet is his love for Vicki! This bride and groom were infatuated with one another and were a dream to photograph.
This summer wedding was a HOT one! Most photos were done indoors to avoid the heat, but we braved it outside to get some beautiful natural light photos. If you ask me, it was absolutely worth it! I encourage all of my couples to get at least a few photos outdoors. When the sun is positioned perfectly, the glow that it gives is absolutely dreamy! The way these two looked at each other made my job of photographing them easy. It was the most perfect day and an honor to photograph their wedding day. Congratulations to Mr. & Mrs. Cole!
